Tammie Axworthy is a high-energy stylist, working behind the chair for 30 years. She had no idea she wanted to do hair until a family friend got her a part time job shampooing at a local salon when she was 18. Soaking a few clients didn’t stop her from falling in love with the salon culture. She opened The Hair Boutique 6 years ago and has grown the salon to a team of 7. She loves to mentor other stylists, and she couldn’t be more proud of her Hair Boutique team. As a Technical Educator and National Artist for Goldwell and KMS California endorser for 23 years, she has produced her own Upstyling, Balayage Technique and Salon Business Programs that she teaches all across Canada. Tammie is also proud to instruct the Goldwell Master Colorist Program at the Toronto and New York City Goldwell Academies. She is grateful for the amazing opportunities she has had, such as sharing the stage at the Toronto ABA’s, being featured in Salon Magazine as well as judging at the Spring Hairfest in North Bay. In 2024 she went on tour with the Kao Creative Xperience North American team, creating the show looks and presenting on stage for the show. In 2023 she joined the Odete DaSilva Hair Team and is now doing backstage hair for Fashion weeks in North American and Europe.
