Ceramic Coating is a silica coat (thin glass coating that increases the overall hardness of the outside of the car. The best way to describe Ceramic Coating is like a second layer of skin or sacrificial layer of protection over your car’s paint. Wax only protects your car for 5-6 days vs Ceramic coating, which protects your car for approximately 5 years. Lastly, cars usually have a rating of 2-3H (Hardness). With Ceramic Coating, the hardness increases to 9H, protecting the car for 5 years.
