Leung Animal Clinic Ltd. is a Calgary based company founded in late 2020 and operated as Crescent Animal Clinic. The name was rebranded to Argo Vet in 2024 to better reflect our evolving identity and values. The dream of starting a locally owned private practice began in 2012 when Dr. Alan Leung first started his veterinary studies.
Argo Vet was inspired by the Greek mythology, Jason and the Argonauts. This is a tale where Jason and his band of heroes (The Argonauts) set sail on their ship, Argo, in search of the Golden Fleece – which is an all healing golden blanket. This story is also what inspired the gold cape in our logo.

Heroes are heroes are heroes. At Argo Vet, we believe in collaboration and cooperation between heroes for our beloved animal companions. Who are the heroes? To our pets, we, as the “pawrents” are heroes in their lives. To our clients, their pets and the veterinary team are the heroes. It is through this philosophy, that we emphasize the importance that every individual plays in a pet’s life. We embrace the spirit of teamwork and recognize that collective support and synergy is essential to your pet’s healthcare.
