@ 180 Optometry and Eyewear opened in Kitsilano in the fall of 2011. Dr. Janey Yee is the owner and optometrist on staff. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Optometry from the University of Waterloo and an Optometry degree from the same institution. Her ocular disease and therapeutics qualifications were completed at Credit Valley Eyecare in Ontario.
Dr. Yee has worked in a variety of clinical settings in order to gain experience in every aspect of the profession. After being an associate optometrist for six years, Dr. Yee decided to share her skills by opening @ 180 Optometry & Eyewear. Her modern clinic provides a warm and comfortable environment. Since moving to Vancouver, Dr. Yee has been a member in good standing with the BC College of Optometrists. She is excited about the challenges and rewards of being a business owner and is pleased to be a part of the vibrant west side of Vancouver.
