We are ALWAYS OPEN! We welcome walk-in emergencies or transfers from any veterinary hospital and DO NOT CHARGE AN EMERGENCY FEE to be seen by one of our emergency veterinarians. We have on-site access to whatever your pet may need, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT scans and imaging, fluoroscopy, surgery, intensive care unit, full lab and blood gases.

Because of the serious and sensitive nature of emergency and critical care veterinary medicine, the emergency service at Burrard Animal Hospital does not give medical diagnoses or advice over the phone or via e-mail. The health of your pet is very important to us. We believe that in order to give you and your pet the appropriate care, we must see your animal before we can accurately give a diagnosis or advice. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for emergency and critical cases. If you are not our regular client/patient we recommend youto consult your regular veterinarian as they arebest suited for non-emergency questions or concerns.

If you are coming in as an EMERGENCY, please call to let us know that you are on your way, if possible, so that we can be prepared for your arrival.***

We are located on the South East corner of West Broadway and Burrard Street in the heart of Vancouver.

We also offer free parking available on site – the entrance to the underground parking is accessed via the back alley between Burrard Street and Pine Street.  There are several designated 2-hr parking spots for Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency Clients.  If one of these marked stalls is not available, please purchase a parking ticket and we will reimburse you at reception.  To exit the parking lot, use the elevator to the Ground floor and exit through the lobby – our entrance will be immediately on your left.  The parkade is locked after 10pm, at which time there is free street parking available on West Broadway.

For the security of our staff, our front door will lock in the evenings – please use the buzzer if you are visiting us at night or early in the morning
