Meet Patricia Capuzzi and Marco Scagliati
Patricia Capuzzi and Marco Scagliati, the heart and soul behind Heaven GF, have been married for almost 40 years. Hailing from Venezuela, they brought their dreams and culinary passion to Calgary in 2008. Back in Venezuela, they owned and operated a charming B&B by the beach called “La Riviera Posada,” where they honed their skills in hospitality and food service.

Our Journey
Patricia’s journey in the culinary world began at LaSalle College in Montreal in the 80s, where she studied Hotel and Restaurant Management. With decades of experience in the industry, Patricia has always been dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences. Marco, on the other hand, transitioned from a successful career in industrial construction to discover his true passion in the kitchen when they moved to Calgary. Together, their combined expertise and love for food led to the creation of Heaven GF.

OUR INSPIRATION
Distinctive and Bold
Our inspiration comes from our personal journey and our desire to bring joy through food. Moving to Calgary, we started with a stall at the Calgary Farmers’ Market, where we learned about gluten-free and other dietary needs. This experience inspired us to open Heaven GF, a place where dietary restrictions are embraced and everyone can share a meal without worry.
