ANVIL Coffee House

Welcome to Anvil Coffee House, a local hub for great coffee and tea in the Ottewell and Kenilworth communities. Anvil’s doors opened to the public in March of 2017 by Lesley and Tony, residents of Ottewell. Fueled by a desire to see a local coffee house with the intention of connecting with friends and neighbors, their dedication to building community turned Anvil into the gem that it is today. Anvil was purchased by Sarah Klaszus in March of 2024. She has worked at Anvil Coffee House since 2021, and came to deeply care for the business, the clientele, and believes strongly in the original vision that shaped the business.

Anvil continues to be a place with a relaxing and eclectic atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly, joy!
