About ‘Butter’
I love butter. All things dairy. Good milk, good cream, good butter makes delicious anything. Inspired by butter coffees I’ve had in Asia, we use the best dairy available locally to make yummy, creamy coffees. If only Canada would open up the dairy market (iykyk, I could go on a whole rant about this), then we’d be using Hokkaido milk and French butter.

About ‘Joy’
My name is Joy, and I hope through each cup of coffee, I am bringing a little joy into your day. Before a full-time coffee enthusiast, I was a software engineer in Hong Kong. I grew a deep dislike for big corporate and left to pursue something I felt truly gave me meaning. This coffee shop isn’t really about the coffee. It’s about seeing the smile on someone’s face after they take the first sip.

We opened in November 2025. No barista experience, no business experience, just coffee and vibes. Turns out if you take one little step at a time, eventually you end up somewhere great!
